Carenado has started the New Year with a new aircraft announcement!
In a post to their Facebook page, they wrote: “Happy New Year for all of you, we want to take the opportunity to share our new project for this year that you have requested a lot, a big hug for everyone and we hope you like it, best regards!”
“The Short 360 (also SD3-60; also Shorts 360) is a commuter aircraft that was built by British manufacturer Short Brothers during the 1980s. The Short 360 seats up to 39 passengers and was introduced into service in November 1982. It is a larger version of the Short 330. It is also affectionately known in aviation circles as “The Shed”.”
The previews released today show the aircraft in early stages of development, it will most likely be some time until we see it being released.
In its 10-year production run, 165 of the aircraft were built and sent to operators around the world including British Airways, Aer Lingus and US Airways.
