Flightbeam Studios have today announced the development of another airport! Along with releasing the first screenshot of the scenery.
In a post to the Flightbeam Studios Forum they wrote: “It’s with great pleasure to announce the development of Flightbeam KPDX – Portland International Airport.”
They went on to say: “KPDX is being developed by seasoned developer Bill Womack, and published directly under Flightbeam.”
“Portland International Airport KPDX is a joint civil-military airport and the largest airport in the U.S. state of Oregon, accounting for 90 percent of passenger travel and more than 95 percent of air cargo of the state. It is located within Portland’s city limits just south of the Columbia River in Multnomah County.
“Portland International Airport has direct flights and connections to most major airports throughout the United States, and non-stop international flights to Canada, Germany, Iceland, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The airport is a secondary hub for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, with Seattle–Tacoma International Airport as the primary hub for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air.
