FSDT Announce New Airport!

1

FSDreamTeam the development group behind products like GSX and scenery products for airports like JFK, Memphis, and others has announced today the development of another scenery product.

They’re developing scenery for Louisville International Airport in Kentucky USA, it’s a public and military use airport centrally located in the city of Louisville in Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. The airport is situated on approximately 1,500 acres and has three runways. Although it currently does not have regularly scheduled international passenger flights, it is a port of entry, as it handles numerous international cargo flights for UPS.

Over 3.2 million passengers and over 4.7 billion pounds (2,350,000 t) of cargo pass through the airport each year. It is also the third busiest in the United States in terms of cargo traffic, and seventh busiest for such in the world.

As is shown in the inital previews, KSDF is home to the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123d Airlift Wing operates C-130 transport aircraft from the co-located Louisville Air National Guard Base. It’s also home to Worldport, the worldwide hub of UPS.

The scenery appears to be in very early stages of development so I wouldn’t expect it soon because KCLT is coming from them in the coming months. For more information click here

  1. They had announced this a long time ago as well as it being developed side by side with CLT with separate teams working on each one.
