Honeycomb Aeronautical today revealed their throttle quadrant for the first time!
In a post to its Facebook page, the company wrote: “At the factory approving pre-production samples of the throttle. Cosmetically it is stunning but there is still a bit of fine tuning to be done on the lever tension and button feel. (both commercial and general aviation handles are included in the box).”
The company delayed the release of their yoke system which was originally slated for release in the first quarter of 2018. Due to production delays the release was pushed back.
The Bravo Throttle Controls prior to this, have only been seen in concept drawings.
It’s not clear when either of the systems are due to be released however, the Alpha Flight Controls are further in the development process after entering the pre-production stage in December last year.
The yoke is expected to cost $199, while the throttle is set to be price slightly higher at $225. (Prices based on Aerosoft pre-order listings.)
