I.D.S Sacramento Release Delayed

Aerosoft, the publisher for I.D.S have announced that the release of Sacramento has been delayed

Emanuel Hagen from Aerosoft said “All our staff is at the Flight Simulator Conference over the weekend, so do better not expect a release today.” so this probably means that we will have to wait until Monday.

On a positive note, Jeroen Doorman one of the Video Producers for Aerosoft posted a screenshot of him climbing out of Sacramento and he says “oh btw … blends in perfectly with ORBX California. (for those running into some scenery issues when it’s released, 3 files should be either disabled or moved to a different location and those files can be found here: ORBXFTX_NAFTX_NA_NCA05_SCENERYscenery)”

It’s sadly just a waiting game, for more information click here

I.D.S Sacramento Release : I have a relatively fast sim set up with twin GTX 980 video cards . I7 processor and 32 gig of ram. Uk2000 with all of the Lockheed Martin 3Dv3 sliders maxed our and three weather programs. 4o plus frames a minute. Sacramento has my system struggle to maintain fifteen frames. Airports from Fly Tampa , FSDT and Flightbeam give similar high frame rates with the sliders maxed out. Sacramento with all of the sliders reduced give the poor performance. That aside the scenery is O.K. , but in my opinion not to the standard of others as UK2000 which receives the best frame rates. P.S. I use track IR and have a full Cessna cockpit set up and a 47 inch monitor. I run the PMDG 737 at over 25 FPM on the other sceneries. Hope the frame rate issue can be solved.
