Imaginesim has been working hard on converting their KCLT Charlotte for use inside Prepar3dV3!
In one of their latest tests, they’ve been assessing the Frames Per Second in different parts of the airfield and comparing it to that of FSX.
In the screenshot showing the P3D version it displayed a solid 38.8FPS in the densest part of the airport compared to 21.1 in FSX.
In a post to Facebook, they wrote “We’ve been noticing massive performance improvements during testing of KCLT Charlotte for Prepar3Dv3 when compared to the FSX version. At the most performance intensive part of the airport we’ve achieved an 81% increase in frames-per-second. Away from the terminals the performance is liquid”
