Following the shock news yesterday that Microsoft was re-entering the flight simulation market, more details about Microsoft Flight Simulator have been revealed.
In a press release on PR Newswire, Microsoft announced further information about their upcoming flight simulator, most of which will put the minds of enthusiasts at rest.
It is now confirmed that Microsoft Flight Simulator will be coming to Windows 10 first and then, ” to Xbox One at a later date.”
Critically they then went on to say: “By revamping our tech, working in close collaboration with the community and pursuing the best partnerships across the industry, we intend to deliver the best-in-class flight simulation experience.”
The development team will focus on, “the authenticity of flying and visually stunning environments.”

This analysis allows viewers to see that the video was truly shot in “real-time” as stated by Microsoft.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is set to be released in 2020.
