Orbx has today announced the development of a scenery package for KVUO Pearson Field Airport!
The scenery is being developed by renowned scenery developer, Bill Womack. In a post to the Orbx forums, he wrote: “We’re just about to let loose with KVUO, so after keeping mum for so long, I thought I’d send up a few preview pics. I’m so happy to be working back in the Pacific Northwest again! :-).”
“Pearson Field is the oldest continuously operating airfield in the Pacific Northwest and one of the two oldest continuously operating airfields in the United States, receiving recognition in 2012 as an American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics historic aerospace site.”
The previews released today show off the airport inside what is presumably Prepar3D Version 4, they show close-ups of the modelling around the airport as well as previews showing POIs and the surrounding area.
We interviewed Bill Womack on the PC Flight Podcast a few weeks ago, it was a really interesting conversation. Click here to listen
