The Quality Wings Boeing 787 is one of the most highly anticipated aircraft in the flight sim industry. But no one knows when it is going to be released!

The Boeing 787 or the ‘DreamLiner’ is one of the most modern commercial airliners in the world and has been in production since late 2009. And since then QualityWings has been developing there version for FSX and Prepar3D.

Recently QualityWings however have been keeping the date of the alleged release a secret. They have been giving subtle hints because in a post on their Facebook page they said “We promise before this millennium” but as you can see this doesn’t provide an accurate enough date.

The QW787 boasts a whole host of new systems that haven’t been seen in FSX before. Things like over 100 realistic animations including: Super Smooth Gear Animation, All Primary flight controls and an actual APU door.

The flightdeck has excellent attention to detail with a full working flight management system

The flightdeck is also something to be noted because this has exceptional attention to detail including a fully interactive 3D Virtual cockpit and an a flight management system.

The flight dynamics in this simulation have been developed using data from the real world and has also been tested by real life B787 pilots. This means you will get the most accurate simulation of the way a Boeing 787 flies in real life.

The Quality Wings B787 also comes with dozens of high quality liveries to choose from and a detailed multi sided repaint kit for those that like to develop there own liveries.

Because of the interest that has been shown QualityWings in a statement said “We will try and get both 787/737CL products out before the “target” that we provided”. This shows that they still don’t have a definite date for us yet, but when it’s released I’m confident that it should be a great success.
