QualityWings today released a statement announcing that the release date for the 787 has been pushed back because they still “have open items that we feel must be addressed”
In a post to their Facebook page they wrote: “The last days and weeks all of us worked very long hours to meet the deadline we set ourselves. We had planned for a release on September 21st but we still have open items that we feel must be addressed before the team can agree to a ‘GO’ for release.
Although we are close, we do not feel the 787 product will be ready for release next weekend. We’ll be working our butts off in the coming days to deliver the plane as soon as possible.”
There has been much speculation in recent weeks as to when the exact release date is for the highly anticipated product. We now know it was planned for the 21st September but because it’s not ready; they’ve had to push the release date back slightly.
