Why Attend RIAT on Friday?

Friday 17 July will be the focus for our official commemorations marking the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain with a four hour flying display that will include the debut of our spectacular massed flypast of historic aircraft. The rest of the flying display can be viewed HERE.

Only on Friday will you get controlled access to our special ‘Pit Area’ where you can get up close to aircraft that are part of the flying display. Here you can see the beautiful historic Spitfires, Hurricanes, Buchon, Messerschmitt and the stunning Blenheim that will take part in our mass flypast. The RAF’sRed Arrows and their Spanish counterparts, Patrulla Aguila will also be located here along with their crews and engineers.
On Friday the Vulcan XH558 will be on display in the ‘Pit Area’, where you can get up close under the stewardship of the Vulcan to the Sky volunteers. This will be free on Friday although a small donation to the Vulcan to the Sky Trust is requested on Saturday and Sunday.
We have also improved entry arrangements for those parking in the Green Car Park (travelling from the Cirencester direction) which includes access to the show from 7.30am. Tickets will be checked at the Green Entry Point where you will jump straight on one of our new ‘bendy buses’ that accommodates 120 people and you’ll be dropped off at the nearest accessible point on the showground (approx. 2 minute journey).
Tickets for Friday are limited and priced at £36, so book now for:
